Elizabeth walked up to the counter with Anya. “Thanks for the advice. I won’t worry about it. It’s just, I haven’t been in many relationships before and I don’t wanna take it to fast either. That is if we are in a relationship. I’m still not sure.”
She smiled at Anya’s offer and shook her head. “No Anya, I should be paying. You listened to my sob story. And anyways, if it wasn’t for you I would’ve never found this place. If I went alone I wouldn’t lost my way. She laughed.
Anya shook her head back at Elizabeth and chuckled. “C’mon, you can take me here another time, just order whatever. It wasn’t even a sob story,” she laughed. Getting out a ten dollar bill from her wallet and waited for Elizabeth to order after she ordered herself a Strawberry and Creme Frap.
Stretching lightly, Anya yawned and hoped that the frap would wake her up.
“Yea we did! Except…” she bit her lip as they kept walking. “Well after he did he ran away. Said he had to go call his mum. I don’t really know what to think of that still.” She was kinda hoping Anya and her would become great friends.
“Any advice about the situation?” She asked. She looked to Anya who didn’t seem very into the subject. “Sorry if I’m annoying you. Lets talk about something else, like your life.” She said.
Anya chuckled and gasped as they found the local cafe and opened the door for her, letting her in first. Hearing Elizabeth ask for advice, but ask about her life, she shook her head. “No it’s fine,” she said with a smile. “Hm- maybe he was nervous? I mean, he probably doesn’t want to move to fast, y’know? Don’t think too much into. If he didn’t want to kiss you, he wouldn’t have.”
Walking up to the register she patted her friend on her back and leaned against the counter. “So, what do you want? My treat.”
I’m going to be a bit M.I.A. cause I have CSTs right now and tomorrow is about to be my hardest day so :( Mreh.
Elizabeth smiled just thinking about her date. “So we were going for a swim and I got scared of the water so her pulled me in and then we started having a water fight. Then I asked him if I willingly admitted defeat what kind of prize would I get and he said how about another date.” She blushed at the thought of another date with Michael. “Then we got out and ate and he played his guitar and we sang together. That was the first time I’ve ever sang with anyone before.”
The sun felt so good on Elizabeth’s skin. “And then we started to head back to the house and I totally tripped and fell. Then we started laughing and he flung me over his shoulder and ran back to the house. Then we started laughing because we accidentally spilt the food. Guess what happened next?” She said, leaving Anya with the suspense of the biggest detail of all.
Listening to Elizabeth talk about her date reminded her of all those cliche teen romance movies she’s seen with her friends back home. Anya’s face was expressionless and well, she didn’t really fancy talking about anyone’s love life cause she was jealous. She always wanted someone to care for her like how someone cared for her friends, like how Michael seemed to care for Elizabeth, but she sucked it up.
After Elizabeth told Anya to guess she took her time to think about it even though it was the next thing to happen in those cliche teen movies. “Hm, he kissed you?” she asked with a chuckle.
He could tell she was deep in thought, as he figured many people were. He was, a little. He felt good, yet bad about this place. It could help in many ways, but it could also harm him, and make him even more self concious about himself. No one knew the results of what was going to happen, but he hoped it would be for the best.
” I’m James.. We haven’t really met, but That could be changed, if You’d like.. I’ve been here for a couple days, and heard this was a pretty nice place to hang out.”
he said, introducing himself, as he layed down against the wooden dock, letting the sun tan his body , covering his eyes with his face. It wasn’t comfortable for long, so he sat up , looking at the girl
Listening to James voice, he seemed like he was more of a quiet kid. Almost forgetting that they were in a program, she started to wonder why he was here but knew better to not ask. As he laid back, her eyes followed him, her expression unreadable. As he laid back up, she looked away and into her own reflection of the water. What she saw in it, she didn’t like, but then again her image could be much worse.
“That’s fine with me,” she said with a small chuckle. “I’ve only been here for three or four days. I haven’t met anyone really. Just my roommate and one other person really… It’s nice to meet you though.” Anya looked over to him and gave him a small smile.
Hello, new people!
Hey, I’m Anya.
A day at the dock — || Anya & James
James was new here, just arriving the other day. He had already unpacked and met a couple people. Although he knew everyone’s name, he didn’t personally know them, and he wanted to change that about some people. He had heard a couple things about some people, and he had told a couple things about some people, but other than that, life had just been him, playing call of duty in his room.
It was a sunny day, and he heard that the dock was a fun place to be. He put on blue and black striped swim trunks, and his aviators over his eyes, sliding on his sperry’s, then he got a towel, throwing it over his shoulder as he walked towards the dock. He began to sit down, then he saw a girl there. He analyzed her up and down, before he sat down, then he knew who she was. Anya. They hadn’t even spoken, but he had heard good things about her. He sat down next to her, his towel underneath him, his feet hanging off the dock, into the chilly water. “You’re. Anya.” he said, in a questioning tone, as he broke the ice between them.
Anya was having one of those days, and did something she usually regretted, but couldn’t help but doing. It was a nice day, but with the things that happened she decided to wear her old dance shirt that covered most of her bicep, which she was glad for. Throwing on a pair of black shorts, she walked to the dock, and no one was there. It gave her perfect time to go ahead and clear her mind, maybe even let out a few tears or something.
Minutes passed and kept her composure, yet she wasn’t even trying. She was feeling frustrated not being able to let out her emotions, especially now that she was away from home. Her feet were in the cold water and kicked her feet, making little splashes. Hearing footsteps creak, and an unfamiliar voice, she jumped and turned her head, looking at a boy she hadn’t met yet. Hearing what he said, she wondered how he knew about her. Slowly she nodded and gave him a small smile.
“Yup, that’s me. Hey,” she said awkwardly. Anya began to feel bad that she didn’t even know his name. “Er- I’m sorry, I don’t think I’ve caught your name…”

Elizabeth was just putting her hair in a top knot on her head and slipping on her shorts. “One second Anya!” She slipped on her flats and walked out into the room, grabbing her purse off the chair. “Okay, I’m ready.”
She walked out the door and down the hallway. “Um I’m not really sure where it is, but I bet we can find it!” She said. She locked her arm with Anya’s. “So shall I tell you about my date now that you’re awake?” She asked, laughing silently to herself.
As they both made their way out of their dorm and walked out the hallway, Anya nodded and let Elizabeth link arms with her. She wasn’t used to close contact that was… friendly, needless to say. Coming from a home that revolved around abuse. It was odd, but it was something different. Nice, you could possibly say.
“Yes, you can tell me, I’m all ears,” she said with a laugh. As they walked out of their building, Anya began to let her feet guide her instead. She hoped they could find the local cafe sooner or later. Walking down the side walk, she closed her eyes slightly at the brightness of the sun and wished she had her sunglasses.

Anya felt bad that she fell asleep on Elizabeth as she tried to inform her about her date. Offering to take her roommate out to coffee, she laid on her bed with her phone above her, texting her friends back home, telling them all about her experience so far as she waited for Eli to come out of the bathroom. Getting up from the bed, she looked in the full body mirror and examined her outfit, seeing if it was alright. Taking off her black hoodie, she only wore a white v neck, blue jeans and red toms.
Looking at the time, she wondered what time Starbucks closed. Knocking on the bathroom door, she leaned against. “Eli, c’mon! It’s Sunday, I don’t know what time Starbucks closes!” Anya walked away from the door and flopped onto her bed and let out a sigh, closing her eyes. Still tired from last night.
